Freedom of Speech

Humanitarians strongly support the Freedom of speech as it is protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. People should be free to say anything they want without fear of getting arrested for doing so.

The Free Speech Clause protects your freedom to voice your opinion as long as it’s done in a peaceful, not obscene and non-violent manner. The government can never take away these rights as long as the Constitution is protected.

The humanitarian Party believes that the “free speech zones” or the “1st amendment zones” AKA “protest zones” are unconstitutional and should not be allowed. You can not place a designated area for a protest three to four blocks away from the event.

Under the Humanitarian Party these “protest zones” will not exist and all protest will be handled in a proper manner giving respect to both parties and allowing each to be heard in a respectful manner.
